Wetland and Stream Restoration

Newly approved, the Elkhorn River Mitigation Bank is a U.S. Army Corps of Engineers-approved mitigation bank in Dodge County, Nebraska, along Elkhorn River and Pebble Creek. The bank encompasses approximately 241 acres and generates wetland and stream mitigation credits. Restoration will include minimum excavation on the property focused on re‑establishing and enhancing the on-site wetland and stream resources. These efforts are designed to restore ecological function and create a self‑sustaining system that supports native wildlife while improving water quality, flood resilience, and overall watershed health.
