Species Conservation
Buck Ridge Conservation Bank is located in Madera County, California, and spans 1,160 acres. The site is dedicated to the long-term preservation and management of species habitat, supporting a range of federally listed species, including California tiger salamander, Hairy Orcutt grass, Swainson's hawk, and vernal pool fairy shrimp.
This bank builds upon the success of WES's Dutchman Creek Conservation Bank and Piedra Azul Conservation Bank, both of which are now sold out of credits.
