Wetland Restoration
The Bumpus Mills Mitigation Bank is in Stewart County, Tennessee and provides mitigation credits for wetland impacts in the Saline Creek Lower Cumberland watershed. The bank is 20.1 acres but is part of a larger 118.8 acre site that supports two other restoration projects developed by WES. The goal of the bank is to create a self-sustaining, natural forested wetland system that restores the local ecosystem functionality and reestablishes native vegetation.
